Class Concentricycloidea (Now believed to be part of the Class Asteroidea - see taxonomic tree below.)

Living Materials:

Pisaster (Dissection).

Strongylocentrotus (Dissection).

Be sure to note the types and functioning of pedicellaria in these two representatives of theclasses Asteroidea and Echinoidea respectively.

Preserved Materials:

See museum preparations (dried & wet) on the back bench.

Various prepared slides on Echinoderm material: See on bench.

Demonstration Material:

Various preserved and dry museum preparations. See blackboard for list of materials on the back bench area for you to study.

Exercises: (will vary somewhat depending upon delivery of live materials).
