Our Research
We focus on physical volcanology and the processes controlling persistently active volcanoes. Our current research integrates the study of geophysical signatures with geochemical and remote sensing data to investigate precursory signals to volcanic activity and the mechanisms that trigger eruptions. We use a variety of geophysical and geochemical techniques (gravity, differential GPS, gas flux, satellite remote sensing) to study volcanoes in the Americas, Europe, South East Asia and Hawaii.
