FPA 147 Project One: Recording/Editing

• Assignment:

Create a cassette (Dolby C, Type II) which contains
(1) a copy of the version on the Hard Drive followed by
(2) a version of that text with all of the sibilance, (s or c) the "p"s (p) and the hard "t"s (t) removed, and
(3) a version with all of the c/ss’s, t’s and p’s edited together.

• Procedure:

Open a new  file/session and import the prerecorded file off the Hard Drive. Save the your file (file #1) and begin editing out the sibilance’s marked above with underlining, moving them to the end of the file#1. Once you have completed removing all of the sibilance, continue with the t’s and then the p’s. Create a file/session with the original file, followed by file without any sibilance, "p"s or "t"s then the sibilance, "t"s and finally the "p"s.
