Home page for ’ve worked for Computing Services at Simon Fraser University since 1988, and at the Harbour Centre campus in downtown Vancouver since 1992. I provide technical support to our user community, and administer the Publishing Lab, a high-end Macintosh lab. I also act as a kind of minor “Web mage” here: administering our Web server, and teaching courses on Dreamweaver through SFU’s Continuing Studies department. Since 1994 I have lived in a cozy cottage in Deep Cove, B.C., a small community at the foot of Mount Seymour, with the love of my life, Jean Karlinski. In 1976 I received my B. Sc. in Math and Computer Science from UBC, and in 1996 completed my Master of Publishing degree from SFU, after 5 years of part-time study. I’ve been an avid cyclist for many years, love to read, and can think of few things more appealing than cycling along the backroads of France with some fresh bread, a chunk of Comté cheese, and a juicy, red tomato.
