Re: Still have issues with groups in calendar

Justin,
I did notice that anything in Corporate Time that is marked Normal, Confidential, or Personal is converted as private.  Anything marked specifically as public is converted as Public.  In our case, I think I'm OK with that.

On a related note, has anybody else noticed that calendar data moved from Oracle calendar (or maybe with the icalmig tool in general) ends up with all events listed as private in Zimbra?

We're moving over from an early version of Oracle Calendar.  There are some features that our users will definitely miss.  I'm sure they will eventually get used to it, but the initial grumbling will be a trial to get through.  I hope you're right and  this distribution list expansion piece will come through sooner, rather than later.

Thanks,
Cheryll

Cheryll,

Is your campus moving away from Oracle Calendar?  This seems to be a feature in OC that our users are looking for as well going into our Zimbra conversion.  I think 6.0 is supposed to address this directly, but the recent workaround that was posted is close.
