Re: 7.1.2

We were hit by a bug patched in 7.1.1p4 on our internal system that has <200 users on it...but I think that was included in 7.1.2 as well.

I would consider the imap deadlocking issue a fairly strong case for p5 as well if you have a lot of users and shares in the environment: http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=63100

That said, I'm still advocating v7 for its overall benefits and wouldn't say it's risky...just that based on the recent releases and some of the bugs on the roadmap between 7.1.2-7.1.3, I'm a bit more comfortable with 7.1.1 in comparison to 7.1.2 at this time.

Rich and all-

7.1.1 Patch 3, 4 and 5 were released due to a specific request from a large service provider in Japan.

They are trying to launch their production service and needed specific issues addressed.

We agree this is uncommon and the bugs in the patches are not critical for our regular customer base.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Yikes, ZCS 7.1.1 P5 released just today.

If we don't see a 7.1.2p1 in the next 18 hours, I'm going to have a very interesting Friday.
