We may have your next big challenge.

We are currently looking for a statistician to work as a member of our
engineering team to design and improve jet engine components and
systems. The selected individual will have the opportunity to apply
everything learned in graduate school (and beyond), particularly in the
following areas:
*       Exploratory data analysis
*       Regression and response surface modeling
*       Hierarchical/multilevel modeling
*       Monte Carlo simulation
*       Experimental design
*       Bayesian data analysis and MCMC
*       Deterministic model emulation, sensitivity analysis, calibration
and uncertainty analysis
*       Categorical data analysis
*       Quality control
*       Life data analysis
*       Risk analysis
*       Multivariate analysis
*       Longitudinal Analysis
*       Functional data analysis
The incumbent is required to have an M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, or
equivalent degree.
Programming and analyses are done using R, SAS, Minitab, Matlab, MS
Office, Fortran/C, and Winbugs.
Experience in deterministic model emulation, sensitivity analysis,
calibration and uncertainty analysis is desirable.
