Mike Bradford suggested I contact you both regarding a position we
have available at DFO described below.
If you know of anyone (past students, etc.) that might be looking for
work with a fisheries analytical background pls forward the details
(and attachments below) to individuals.  If you have any questions,

Fraser River Stock Assessment, Fisheries & Oceans Canada, is
soliciting applications to fill a 6-month term analytical biologist
(BI-02) position in their Analytical Programs (Sockeye & Pink Program
and Chinook & Coho Program) starting March 1, 2010.  Note, although
March 1st is the preferred start date, this date is negotiable.  The
work location is Delta, British Columbia (Lower Fraser Area Office).

Activities to be undertaken by this position include (but are not limited to):

Stock-recruitment analysis and forecasting;
Technical report writing and editing;
Analysis of large data sets, including preparation of tables and
figures using R and excel.

Please fill in the attached application template making sure to
clearly demonstrate how you meet each of the merit criteria
identified.  See the attached document entitled "Information for
Applicants" for tips in filling out the template.
