Subject: [d-ssc] Toronto postdoc position available

(Please forward to anyone you think might be interested.)

Hi Jeff,

We are looking for a postdoc to work on a series of studies relating to
the long-term outcome of cancer patients. Specifically, we need someone to
conduct analyses and develop novel analytic methods to address issues of
delayed treatment toxicity, survival, drug interactions, the interaction
between other health problems and cancer therapy.Primarily large sets
of health administrative data from patients across Ontario are used to
conduct these analyses.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in survival analysis
and competing risks. In addition, we commonly use propensity score or
instrumental variable analyses. Notably, there are opportunities to
develop innovative analytic methods, so this position offers a chance
for independent statistician-driven research. We have multi-year funding.

If you could forward this email to any of your colleagues who may know
of an appropriate candidate, I would be grateful. That person could
contact me, or Geoff Anderson [geoff.anderson@utoronto.ca] who is a
lead investigator.
