Part-Time Statistician Position at the University of Guelph
I am a Professor of Psychology at the University of Guelph and am seeking a talented, well-organized, and conscientious person to handle the data analysis for a CIHR-funded three-wave longitudinal study of the physical and cognitive fitness of 300 older adults who work as volunteers in the community. Two waves of data collection have been completed to date and a third and final wave of data will be collected in the Spring, 2011.
Qualifications for this position include a graduate degree in a field related to statistics, and experience with longitudinal, multivariate data sets and with analytic procedures ranging from ANOVAS to SEM. The research team is composed of 2 psychologists, an exercise physiologist, and a human development expert.
The part-time hours are flexible in both quantity and scheduling. Following a period of work at Guelph, the work can be done at a remote location. Compensation will be determined on the basis of the applicant's qualifications and experience.
