The Biostatistics Department at the Princess Margaret (PM) Cancer Centre in Toronto invites applications for a temporary (one year contract) full-time biostatistician position. The biostatistician will support clinical staff in all aspects of their research studies. Responsibilities include assisting with research design and protocol development, advising on data collection, analyzing data, interpreting and reporting results and helping to prepare and revise manuscripts.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Biostatistics or equivalent, excellent oral and written communication. S/he is expected to be a self-starter, work independently, and manage several projects concurrently. Statistical consulting experience is preferred. A working knowledge of SAS or R using a Windows platform is essential.
