Tenure-Track Statistics Positions
The Department of Mathematics and Computer
Science at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for two full-time
tenure-track appointments in statistics to begin in August 2013. Applicants with
backgrounds in theoretical statistics, applied statistics, or biostatistics are
preferred. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in,
undergraduate teaching as well as scholarly achievement. Ph.D. required. This
position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research
leave prior to tenure review and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for

current offerings in probability and statistics for both majors and non-majors.
Toward this end, we look for candidates who can contribute to the development
of new introductory and advanced courses in statistics.
