Lecturer Position in Statistics
The Department of Statistical Sciences at the University of Toronto invites applications for a teaching-stream position at the rank of Lecturer. The position start date is July 1, 2015.
Applicants must have earned a PhD in Statistics, biostatistics, or related discipline by date of appointment; have significant experience in teaching a variety of courses in statistics at the University level; and a record of excellence in teaching; other experience in scholarship and, in particular, statistical collaboration or consulting, is considered an asset. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Appointments at the rank of Lecturer may be renewed annually to a maximum of five years. In the fifth year of service. Lecturers shall be reviewed and a recommendation made with respect to promotion to the rank of Senior Lecturer.
