Limited Term Position in Statistics

The Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a Limited Term appointment in Statistics. The term of the appointment is from August 15, 2015 to May 14, 2016. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. (or a nearly completed PhD) in Statistics or Mathematics or a closely related field. The candidate must show a strong commitment to teaching. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be teaching introductory, intermediate and advanced courses at the undergraduate level in Statistics. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Applicants should provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching interests and philosophy, a statement of research interests and the contact information for three references.
