Sessional Instructor position for Summer 2016 - Burnaby Campus - PSYC 210 – Intro to Data Analysis

Deadline for application August 31, 2015.  Position subject to funding availability.

Interested applicants should send application & all relevant materials to Dr. Rachel Fouladi (rfouladi@sfu.ca) asap, but not later than August 31, 2015, with a cc to Bev Davino (davino@sfu.ca).

Sessional Instructor positions are in support of the undergraduate teaching program at Simon Fraser University (SFU).  Candidates are sought who fulfill either of the two following sets of criteria:

1) Completion of a Ph.D. in Psychology or a cognate field with demonstrated expertise in the desired area of teaching.  Preference will be given to applicants with a record of scholarly activity and/or graduate training in the area of teaching requested. Applications must include a statement of interest [specifying the course(s) sought], a current C.V., copies of scholarly works, and three letters of reference. Candidates should include course outlines and teaching evaluation summaries of previous courses taught.


2) Graduate students in good standing in the Ph.D. program in the Department of Psychology at SFU (or UBC). Ph.D. candidates must have completed all course work, comprehensive examinations, and the dissertation proposal. Applicants in this category must submit three letters of reference, including a letter from their Senior Supervisor.  In addition, a letter of support from the Supervisory Committee is required.
