Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics at Trent University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor (current annual salary range $84,870 - $90,322) commencing July 1, 2016, subject to budgetary approval.

Candidates must have a completed Ph.D in Statistics or a related discipline, excellence in teaching, a strong active research program with evidence of research excellence and a strong potential to attract external funding. The successful candidate is expected to teach Statistics and Probability courses at different undergraduate levels, to maintain active scholarly activities in research and provide consulting support to researchers at other units. Applicants should submit a covering letter that addresses qualifications for the position, curriculum vitae, a summary of research program, a teaching dossier including course evaluations, selected reprints and any other supporting materials. Three letters of reference, of which at least one should comment on candidate's teaching, should be sent on your behalf.
