Passing along more details of the job announcement I forwarded recently. Sounds like an interesting opportunity.

Dear Dr. Loughin,

I hope this message finds you well. As the PI of one of the studies at
the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS looking for a statistician, I
wanted to follow-up on Sue’s email and provide a bit more detail. The
statistician(s) we hire will be joining an active research group at the
BC-CfE which includes two large NIH-funded observational prospective
cohorts and a growing roster of clinical trials. Skills that will be
particularly useful include longitudinal analysis, time-to-event
methods, sample/power calculations, and causal modeling. With more than
50 peer-reviewed articles published last year, it is a productive group
and one in which our statisticians play a valued role.

I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about the BC-CfE
or the job posting.

Thank you for any help you can provide,

M-J Milloy, PhD
Assistant professor, Division of AIDS, University of British Columbia;
