The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at The University of Winnipeg invites outstanding candidates to apply for a continuing appointment in mathematics at the rank of Instructor. Candidates must hold a Masters degree in mathematics, but a PhD is preferred. The primary focus of the successful candidate will be the teaching of mathematics courses at all undergraduate levels, to a wide variety of students. This will primarily include teaching pre-university math courses and math content courses for pre-service elementary and middle years teachers, but will also include teaching courses for business, science, and upper-level mathematics students. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence, must be committed to the continued success of the department and its programs, and will be expected to work collegially on departmental committees. Subject to budgetary approval, this appointment will commence on July 1, 2016. Salary levels will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
