Sessional Lecturer Positions
Full-time or part-time sessional lecturer position(s) available in the Department of Statistics, UBC-Vancouver to teach courses offered during the period from Sept 1, 2017 to Aug 30, 2018. A Master’s degree in Statistics is required. Completion of, or current registration in, a PhD program is preferred. The position(s) requires demonstrated ability to provide effective instruction of introductory statistics at the undergraduate level. Ability to instruct at the third year level is a plus. In keeping with these duties and the goals of our undergraduate program, to be a part of our teaching team the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience with data analysis, and some exposure to active learning techniques.
