The Biostatistics Department at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (PM) invites applications for a permanent full-time biostatistician position. The biostatistician will support clinical and translational research staff within the Hypoxia and Lung Cancer Groups in all aspects of their research studies. Responsibilities include assisting with research design and protocol development, advising on data collection, analyzing data, interpreting and reporting results and helping to prepare and revise manuscripts. 
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Biostatistics or equivalent, 3-5 years of statistical consulting experience, effective oral and written communication. S/he is expected to be a self-starter, working independently and in a team environment, and to manage several projects concurrently. A working knowledge of SAS and/or R using a Windows platform is essential.
