Introduction, space allocation, shop demo (orientation, safety, where to find supplies;  "hands on" demonstration of hand tools) Lockers (2 students per locker)
Project 1assigned and discussed.
Thurs Sept. 9 work on Project 1 in class, shop demo (chop saw, table saw, drill press, nail gun), individual consultations with instructor.

WEEK 12

All works are finished and present. All final works must be documented. Final "exhibition"-- student produces at least one paragraph and no more than one page (typed) response to each artwork. 3 copies are made and distributed: one to the artist, one to the instructor and keep one for yourself.
