Pixloop is an interactive collaborative sound mixing system that is being developed as the project for our IAT 403 / 405 CapStone class. Pixloop will allow users to create their own music from prerecorded sounds that are read off Radio frequency identification (RFID) cards. With these RFID cards, users will be able to choose from a variety of music generes to find the sound that they are looking for. The Pixloop system may be deployed in various settings such as: in the home, at a cafe, in a mall or at a park. We hope that wherever Pixloop is, users will come together and create music for everyone to enjoy.
