1.1: File Import, Transformation, and Grouping
The lady is grouped together, and has been resized, moved, and rotated. The agent has been also resized, moved, and rotated.

1.2: Shape modification
The agent has been sliced at the neck so that only the head remains. His face has been manipulated into a strange cat shape with whiskers by moving the vertices, faces, and edges.

1.3: Duplication
The agent has been duplicated multiple times where he rotates around the y-axis. He has also been translated about the y-axis. The lady has been manipulated through special duplication to surround the weird, floating agent.

1.4: Pattern design through duplication, transformation, and grouping
I chose a photograph of the Vancouver skyline. To create the windows, I made a large cube and a small cube, then duplicated the small cube multiple times. I placed the small cube so that it was sitting on the face of the larger cube, then used the difference tool to create the indented "windows" of the buildings. After creating the master building, I used the special duplication tool to create buildings of different sizes and to place them in different areas.

I then created a sail-like shape by creating a skinny cube and a large cylinder, then used the cylinder to cut out a curve in the cube. I duplicated it 4 more times.

2.1: Hierarchy
The agent has been imported and his parts have been parented. He is posed in the cart and is also parented to the cart so that when it moves, he also moves.

2.2: Materials
The cubes have been duplicated several times and have different materials assigned to them.

2.3: Environment Design
In this environment, I have created a house, a castle, and an uneven plane.

The plane was created with the sculpt geometry tool, using the push and pull functions as well as different radii.

The castle is composed of two towers and four walls. The front wall has an round entrance which was created by a boolean operation (the difference of a cube and a cylinder). The "spikes" on the top of the wall was created by using the insert edge loop tool to insert multiple edges, then extruding each edge to different heights. The towers were created from a cylinder. I extruded the top face of the cylinder and added an offset. I then used the insert loop tool to insert an edge so that I can extrude down every other face on the top. The guards at the bottom of the cylinder were created the same way, except they were extruded out instead of up.

The house was created also with the insert edge tool and by extruding different faces and edges. The front entrance was created by deleting a face on the cube.

2.3.1: Bridge
The bridge was created first by duplicating a cube. Four cylinders and a rope using the NURBS circle and a curve were added. I used the surface extrude tool to create the rope. I then added materials to each of the group of objects (the cubes the made up the bridge, the cylinders, and the ropes). A plane was also created by using the sculpt geometry tool.

WEEK THREE

3.1: Cookie Cutter
I created a variety of different shapes with NURBS curves. I used different surfaces tools on each of them such as bevel, loft, extrude, and planar.

3.2: Beer Mug
I created the beer mug by first importing the reference image into the front plane. I then followed the instructions and used the EP Curve tool to create a curve, then revolved it around the y-axis. The handle was created by extruding a circle along a curve.

3.3: Revolve Around Your Own Image
I chose a vase for this exercise. Like the beer mug, I imported the reference image into the front plane and used EP curves to follow along the body of the vase. I then revolved it around the y-axis.
