- Nilsson: Chapter 4, Techniques of Circuit Analysis, Sections 4.10, 4.11, 4.12, and 4.13.
- Balabanian: Chapter 3, Simple Dissipative Structures, Section 3 only.

- DeCarlo/Lin: Chapter 5, problems 5.26 and 5.30 and Chapter 6, problems 6.13, 6.15, and 6.28.
