Activation procedure
Before the MS can communicate with the sink, the Packet Data Protocol (PDP) context must be activated
A PDP context describes the characteristics of the connection to the sink:
- requested QoS
- data session identifier
- type of external network that is connecting to
MS can start sending user data once a data session is activated
