Both the primary and intermediate wings of the school have a common room. These large spaces are shared by the surrounding classrooms. For primary classes, it provides extra room for larger activities. For intermediate it provides a space for students to work outside the classroom.
Teachers often let the students work in the common room if they know that they can monitor their own work habits or if they need time away from the larger group.
Left - an interesting house play set that seems to be very modular, allowing a focus on interior design rather than "playing house" in the typical way. Wooden materials and colors also seem to be more gender neutral. |
