3D Art TA at Simon Fraser University

For 3 semesters I acted as a TA for 3D courses at SFU. In this role I was in charge of teaching the labs, marking assignments, and providing individual support to students. I taught introductory level and advanced courses.

 

In the introductory course students were shown Autodesk Maya for the first time. I taught the basics of navigating, modeling, texturing, and animating.

In the advanced course students had an opportunity to dive deeper into Maya with facial rigging and character animation. They also learned how to start integrating it into a pipeline for film and games. I taught students digital compositing techniques, and introduce them to the Unity game engine.
