Week 1

Introduction to the course.
Objectives and expectations for the final project

Week 2

-I have joined a team. We are now 5 members.
-Currently, we have setup a Google Doc and are documenting each member's background work experience & skills. In addition, we are discussing ideas for the final project and organizing schedules.

-Updating my IAT 445 website

Week 3-4

-We all registered for the forum.

-Put together the team website

-Had several team meatings discussing ideas for the project and the story

Week 5

This week we managed to finalize our roles for the project. We developed our story further by creating illustrations for our scenes and how the interaction will be setup in the project.

We collaborated on the storyboard and Anu created the final illustrations and I put the storyboard together and got the confirmation from the team.

We also came up with our team name: JAMEM Productions

Week 6

After submitting our pitch, our group is currently working on the following: Justin & I have taken pictures which we hope to use in our project. Anu & Era are working on the 3D modeling of the introduction to the video. Mike will be working on creating the foundation for the enviroment in Flash.

We hope to finalize the pictures this week and begin incorporating our works in Flash. I will be starting on the music & sound effects for the project.

Week 7

This week, I critiqued the student's "Pitch" & storyboard providing both short critiques and long ciritques. Visit my critique sections to read my reviews. Currently, I am finishing the "world" for our project which using photoshop I will have to create the look of our cityscape and provide multiple layers, foreground, middle ground, background. Justin has cleaned up the photos that we had taken and are ready for implementation. Anu is working on the objects in Maya which will be used for the intro video.

Week 8

This week, my team is currently working on finalizing the cityscape. About 70% of it is done, I have placed most of the structures in photoshop however, I do need to take further pictures to finalize the cityscape. The Flash environment is going to be setup by next week. I also finished our Role Research assignment

Week 9

The cityscape is almost completed, a few modification are being done to the buildings and we are moving into working on creating the enviroments for the interiors of the building. This week, we hope to have the cityscape embedded in Flash and I can start working on compiling the music & sound effects for our project.

Week 10

This week we reviewed the animation for the intro of our immersive environment. The exterior cityscape is almost completed, Justin will be finalizing the files. I will be working on putting together the soundscape and music. In addition I completed the research paper on Motion Capture.

Week 11

Our team is finalizing the look of the cityscape. I have started experimenting with the sound and music for our project. I will be posting a link for my team to provide feedback. Also the animation modeling is almost done.
