I am a recent transfer from Okanagan University College in Kelowna, British Columbia and am continuing my Mathematics degree through the Faculty of Science here at Simon Fraser University. Optimization, which is used to maximize output and minimize resources, has been the most intriguing mathematical specialization that I have encountered to this date. As both the Most Improved Player and Leadership awards recipient, and a former captain of the Okanagan University College Men's Basketball Team, I look forward to the challenge of integrating my personal attributes with my mathematical knowledge in the workforce in the very near future.

Andrew Chang: html resume
I am currently in my fourth year, majoring in Management and Systems Science. I started in Computer Science, but found out coding for hours in front of a computer is not exactly what I would like to do. Communicating with people, not technology, seems to be more fun. I am interested in fields such as IT specialist, investment consulting, system analyst, etc. Ultimately, I think I am more interested in becoming an entrepreneur, and starting a business with friends. I always like to learn and try out new things. One of my goals for this semester is to reorganize MSSc's website with a friend.

Sean Amundsen: web resume
I am a fourth year Management and Systems Science student. Like Andrew when I first came to SFU I wanted to graduate with a Computer Science degree. However, I found that MSSc provided a wider breadth of curriculum and in particular I have found the exposure to the faculty of business very valuable. Although now I only work between semesters, for the past ten years I have worked for a small manufacturing company in Delta; The Goalie Store. Before focusing my time exclusively on school, I had the opportunity to manage the entire production facility for three years (www.goaliestore.com). It is this experience coupled with my schooling at SFU that have given me the leadership and analytical skills that have prepared me for a career as a production manager.

Currently in my final year of the MSSc program, I look forward to exploring the various opportunities that await. Although my immediate interests are oriented towards software development, my career goals are not yet fixed; the decisive factor being an environment in which the work is itself the reward. Long term appeal however, has been directed towards Business Analyst. I have a great passion for music, enjoy a variety of sports, and am always in the middle of an interesting read.
