I am a fourth year Management and Systems Science student. Like Andrew when I first came to SFU I wanted to graduate with a Computer Science degree. However, I found that MSSc provided a wider breadth of curriculum and in particular I have found the exposure to the faculty of business very valuable. Although now I only work between semesters, for the past ten years I have worked for a small manufacturing company in Delta; The Goalie Store. Before focusing my time exclusively on school, I had the opportunity to manage the entire production facility for three years (www.goaliestore.com). It is this experience coupled with my schooling at SFU that have given me the leadership and analytical skills that have prepared me for a career as a production manager.
