On Column Widths and Orientation of the K1 and K2 spelling errors
Jim Sanborn has
claimed that the position, or orientation of the iQlusion and
undergrUund spelling errors, revealed by the K1 and K2 plaintext,
are important.
Assuming a rectangular matrix, the following is offered as a look at the positions
as the number of columns changes.
For column counts less than 65, there are two cases where the K and R (Q and U) stand vertically in the same column, at column count 11 and 121 (multiples of 11n?).
Since they are skipped by the keywords, the questions marks appear to have been placed after the original matrix was constructed, and thus have been removed.
Enjoy.
