The Office of Research Services recently received the following NSERC update and we are forwarding it to all list members. Further instruction will be sent to all list members at a later time.

Applicants from the 2010 Collaborative health Research Projects (CHRP) competition will be notified of their results by April 15, 2010. Your offices will also be informed of the decision at the same time.
The Enterprise Award Management System (EAMS) used in the 2010 CHRP competition, will remain open until March 31st, 2010. If you have information saved in EAMS, we ask you to please retrieve it prior to the closure date of the system.
We would like to remind you that the deadline to submit the Notification of Intent (NOI) for the 2011 CHRP competition is May 3, 2010 (at 11:59 pm your local time). The CHRP program will be using Form 182, now available through NSERC’s On-line System, for the submission of all NOIs. Below are some changes that will be implemented for the 2011 NOI submission process:
1. Co-applicants will not be required to provide electronic consent to their participation on the NOI application. However, co-applicants and collaborators need to be informed of the precise uses and disclosures of their personal information.
2. Research Grants Offices (RGO) will not need to approve NOIs prior to submission to NSERC. However, RGOs will have view-only access to the NOIs via the Institution Service.
