Connection Grants support events and outreach activities geared toward short-term, targeted knowledge mobilization initiatives. These events and activities represent opportunities to exchange knowledge and to engage on research issues of value to those participating.
Connection Grants
- ORS deadline is 22 JUL 2016; agency deadline is 1 AUG 2016, however ORS has a hard deadline of 12pm 29 JUL 2016 as per the note below (due to BC Day)
- There are four intakes per year for this funding opportunity

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Although SSHRC's external deadline is Monday August 1, 2016 ORS will be setting a hard deadline for submission to SSHRC on Friday July 29, 2016 by 12pm. This is due to the fact that SSHRC only recognizes federal statutory holidays and not provincial statutory holidays. Please enures that your application is in "SUBMIT" mode no later that 12pm on Friday July 29, 2016 and that we have received your fully signed SFU signature sheet so that ORS can submit your application to SSHRC.
