Killam Research Fellowships
These fellowships assist scholars of exceptional ability by providing release time from teaching and administrative duties to allow them to pursue a research project of broad significance and widespread interest.
Value: 2 years release time valued at $70,000 per year

Killam Prizes
5 prizes are awarded annually – one in each of the disciplines of engineering, health sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. These career achievement awards recognize substantial and distinguished contribution, over a significant period, to scholarly research.
Value: $100,000 each
