The Pre-Med Society is run by SFU students and consists of SFU students who share a common interest in entering the field of medicine.
The Pre-Med Society hosts guest speakers from a wide range of medical fields throughout the semester. Pre-Med also holds meetings dedicated to mock MCATs, interview preparation, and volunteer activities as well as other medically related topics. The Pre-Med Society is great for first year students still unsure about their career path and third and fourth year students working towards medical school admission alike. New members are always welcome!
The SFU pre med society was originally dedicated to bringing in great speakers to expand it's members knowledge of the medical field, as well as providing it's members with social activities in which they can establish some relationships with other Pre-Med members as well as other Pre-Med members from clubs across the Lower Mainland. We have grown immensely over our time at SFU and are always looking to expand, so if there is anything you would like to see let us know.
