FACILITIES

The Quaternary Geoscience Research Group is equipped with computers linked to the SFU server and a wide range of software. It hosts a tree-ring lab and a grain size analyzer. Equipment available for field work includes a ground-penetrating radar (GPR) system, a differential GPS, boats, several different coring devices, and a truck. Students have access to sediment and paleoecology laboratories in the Departments of Biological Sciences and Geography at SFU. A wide range of services and facilities are provided by SFU.
