The three faces of Ryan

The Index Page Sucks!

Welcome. This page is perpetually out of date. Here's what you need to know:

My name is Ryan Cousineau. I'm a computer tech by trade. I live in Port Moody. There. Now you know if you've Googled the right Ryan Cousineau. For everyone else, a few mildly amusing things:

I maintain what is now a decent collection of X-Faces I have found on Usenet and been sent by friends. I know, you'd like a nice interface so you can browse them. Too bad I'm so lazy, eh? Try this site for easy X-Face conversions. If you would like me to add your face to the list, e-mail it to rcousine@sfu.ca.

Rebecca and I like playing Boggle. In honour of that fact, I have created an online cube grid generator. This is a link to a random grid for creating a random 16-cube board which would be very convenient for playing a quick game. I also expect to put an option to generate a 5x5 (25-cube) board up soon. NxN boards are trivial as long as I can find cube data. If anyone has a 6x6 version of Boggle, what I need is the letters for each cube, and I can create the board generation code in about 10 minutes. Thanks to Erick for major algorithm and debug help on this little hack. Interesting fact about Boggle: at least in the 4x4 version, every cube has a unique letter set. I hadn't expected that.

I have now been there, done that, and got the t-shirt. Don't get so excited. It was the recreational race.

I have jumped on the bandwagon and set up a weblog. Wired Cola: repurposable for any purpose!
