Cooperative Employment:
I am now
experienced in COOP ! I worked for 8 months at Exegin Technologies !
Exegin is a wonderful place to work, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
Special thanks to Fred Fierling, Leslie Mulder, and Shaun Louie for being
my mentors.
My old resume is available here. I have not updated it in eons. New
resume coming soon.
In the meantime, I'm resuming studies at SFU. I’m now enrolled in
ENSC 320 (Electric Circuits II),
ENSC 380 (Linear Systems), and ENSC325 (Microelectronics II).
Engineering Projects:
Currently underway
are the "learning" feed-forward motion control system, and the
rover vehicle for the SFU Aerial Robotics Group. New projects in the works
include an ultra-high efficiency rotary engine and a vehicle stability
suspension system.
The focus of the feed-forward system has changed from simply learning the
mass attached, to analyzing the first and second-order characteristics of
the payload in real-time and continuously adjusting the prediction model.
This technique allows for changes in payload behavior - such as consumption
of ink, other motion axes, etc. With these methods, we hope to achieve
precision previously unreachable while using existing encoder and other
feedback systems.
The rover for the Aerial Robotics Group is now in prototype selection. I am
responsible for developing the mechanical and drive systems, along with the
mechanisms required to raise the camera turret and lower the recessed
wheels.
