Rahm Lavon has been homeschooled in Washington State, USA, since 3rd
grade, allowing him to advance in unique ways, and teaching him initiative
and discipline to work and study alone. Homeschool has also given him the
opportunity to learn electrical engineering from his father. He has taken
up interest in programming, which he practices regularly.
Since 2001, he attended Langara College, where he studied in an
engineering-centered curriculum, earning top marks. Some of his course
works were retained to be used as models for upcoming course offerings.
There he also gained critical skills in communication, team workmanship,
and tutoring.
In 2003, Rahm was accepted to the School of
Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Applied Science at Simon Fraser University.
He is consistently managing a very heavy course load, while continuing to
develop technologies outside the curriculum.
Mr. Lavon is now in his 3rd year of consecutive studies (2nd
year at SFU), in both the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering
options.
