I am a First year PhD Candidate advised by Professor Greg Mori at the SFU's Vision and Media lab. I work in the areas of computer vision and machine learning. I completed my MSc in Computing Science at SFU in April 2016. Before joining SFU, I graduated from IIT Jodhpur with B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

I spent my 2016 Summer working at Oracle labs Vancouver as a research intern, working on deep learning applications in Network Security. I did my previous Internship at Sportlogiq Inc., a Ice Hockey based Sport Analytics startup, and worked on building novel deep learning based models for activity recognition in Sport Videos.

Research Interests

I am interested in building computer vision algorithms related to video analysis. My primary research interests include algorithms built using recurrent or convolutional neural architectures, with applications in several video related tasks like human activity analysis.
