Section D101

The dragon was created using a variety of tools used over the last couple of weeks: loft, CV curve, etc. Some parts, like the feet, were created by following the NURBS hand tutorial and modifying it. The body parts are all made of NURBS. The dragon is loosely based off a dragon statuette that I own, and bears a slight resemblance to Spyro.

The dragon in a whole-body shot.

The dragon, from a 3/4 top view.

The goblet/chalice, as learned in the Maya tutorials. Like last week, I used the "CV Curve" tool to draw one half of the object and reflect it along the Y-axis to make it whole.

Like the goblet, this image is result of the Maya tutorial. This one, however, was created with the "Loft" tool, connecting many images to form a whole.
