Statistical Scientist:

Berry Consultants (Berryconsultants.com), a statistical consulting
company, is looking to hire at least one full-time Statistical
Scientist.  Berry Consultants is focused on Bayesian analysis and
designing innovative, adaptive, Bayesian clinical trials. We work with
more than 50 pharmaceutical/medical device companies, in a wide range
of therapeutic areas, and phases of development.   We develop
commercial software for the design and simulation of Bayesian adaptive
trials.  The role of a Statistical Scientist is to create innovative
statistical solutions for pharmaceutical and device companies.
Publishing is encouraged and rewarded.  The expectation is for a PhD
level statistician, but all levels are possible.  The ideal applicant,
though not required, would have experience in clinical trials, a
background in Bayesian statistics and computation, programming
expertise in a low-level language (C/Fortran), experience with R,
great communication skills, and a can-do attitude! Location is
flexible and salary negotiable.

Programmer:

Berry Consultants (Berryconsultants.com), a statistical consulting
company, is looking to hire a full-time programmer.  Berry Consultants
is focused on designing innovative, adaptive, Bayesian clinical
trials.  This frequently involves creating software to simulate
clinical trials.  We have partnered with Tessella (tessella.com) to
create powerful adaptive trial simulation software.  We are looking to
hire a full-time programmer to assist in the development of this
publically available software and the help in the programming of
clinical trial simulations and statistical calculations.  Location is
flexible and salary negotiable. An ideal applicant will have the
following:

·        Programming experience in Fortran90 (or expertise in
C/C++/C#/Java and willingness to learn and program in Fortran90).

·        Experience with software testing/validation.

·        Experience with software maintenance/documentation.

·        Statistics and Math knowledge, and/or scientific programming
experience.

·        Experience with R, WinBUGS.
