Biostatistician/SAS Programmer I
 
The Ontario HIV Treatment Network invites applications for the position of Biostatistician/SAS Programmer I.  The position is a full-time, one-year contract.  Candidates will have a Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health Sciences or other related discipline with 2 years practical experience as a statistical analyst in health related research.   The biostatistician will work on the OHTN Cohort Study team under the supervision of a PhD biostatistician. The biostatistician will participate in the analysis of longitudinal observational data; develop research ready data sets for affiliated HIV researchers, and prepare analysis results for publication and conference presentations.  Excellent SAS programming and data management skills; oral and written communication; and time management skills are essential.   
 
Biostatistician/SAS Programmer II
 
The Ontario HIV Treatment Network invites applications for the position of Biostatistician/SAS Programmer II.  The position is a full-time, one-year contract.  Candidates will have a Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health Sciences or other related discipline with 5 years practical experience as a statistical analyst in health related research.   The biostatistician will work on the OHTN Cohort Study team under the supervision of a PhD biostatistician. The biostatistician will consult with affiliated HIV researchers on the use of the OHTN Cohort Study data; participate in the analysis of the data; develop data processing algorithms to prepare research ready data sets, and prepare analysis results for publication and conference presentations.  Advanced SAS programming and data management skills; oral and written communication; and time management skills are essential.
