Subject: Education 975

Dear Dr. Altman,
I am an SFU faculty member in Education, and a co-coordinator of the Educational Psychology program. Phil Winne is our faculty member who usually teaches Educ 975 (Advanced Multivariate Statistics) and he is away on sabbatical for a year. In the meantime, we are in need of finding someone to teach the course (advanced hierarchical regression, multivariate analyses, factor analysis) to our doctoral students. We were wondering if you know of a former student or post-doc who might be interested in teaching the course for us. The students are not advanced, and much explanation is required, especially compared to students in Statistics courses, but multilevel modeling and hierarchical regression are common methods now used in Educational research, and our students would benefit from knowing the use and limitations of these procedures.
I hope you know someone who can teach this for us!!!

Thanks so much for your time,
Maureen Hoskyn
