Position #20916 – The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for an Instructor I commencing July 1, 2015. This is a two-year probationary appointment. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Mathematics or Statistics and have experience teaching pre-calculus, introductory calculus or calculus labs.
The Department seeks a dynamic individual, who has a strong commitment to teaching. Duties for the position include teaching one course per term, coordinating and instructing a number of calculus laboratories, supervising undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants, and coordinating the activities of Acadia's Math and Stats Help Centre. The successful applicant will also contribute to the service activities of the Department.
