Subject: Teaching Innovation Position at Cornell University

Cornell University is hiring a full-time teaching faculty member dedicated to teaching innovation in Computer Science, Information Science or Statistical Science.

I'm emailing to ask if you would please share this job posting with your department.

A quick summary of the job:
- This teaching oriented position is not just teaching classes. This person would teach 1 class per semester and spend the remainder of their time on teaching innovation.

- Teaching innovation is loosely defined. For example, improving the pedagogical practices within the department/college or building tools that could be used across multiple classes, etc.

- The appointment for this position will sit in either the Computer Science, Information Science or Statistical Science departments.

- This teaching position is intended to be a long-term hire. The College of Computing and Information Science (CIS) takes teaching seriously and we would love to having another teaching faculty join us!

Please see the full job posting: https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/10025

Also, please feel free to send people my way. I would be happy to talk about the job or my experience as teaching faculty at Cornell.

Thanks,
Kyle Harms
