Position # 20914 CLTI – The Department of Mathematics and Statistics seeks to fill a 9.5-month contractually limited Instructor position effective August 1st, 2020. The successful candidate should hold at least a Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline, and have experience in undergraduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching introductory statistics courses or labs. 

The Department seeks a dynamic individual, who has a strong commitment to teaching. Duties for the position include teaching one course per term, co-ordinating and instructing a number of statistics laboratories, and supervising undergraduate and graduate assistants. The successful applicant will also contribute to the service activities of the Department. With COVID-19 restrictions still unknown, it is anticipated that some portion of teaching may need to be delivered remotely. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
