This course explores various aspects of engineering professional practice and addresses issues relating to the social implications and environmental impacts of engineering. Lectures, case studies, research, and group discussions increase awareness and understanding of the legal, ethical, and social responsibilities of professional engineers. Prerequisite: 100 credit hours or permission of the instructor. Completion of at least two co-op placements is recommended.
