Pacman Live!
Status: On Hold | Last Updated: 2010/10/27 | Author(s): stt@sfu.ca
Pacman Live! enables players with GPS-equipped smartphones to play Pacman ... in real-life. Players can select a real-world area to serve as the game board with the application enforcing game logic (collision, dots, powerups, win conditions, etc) within those boundaries.
Updates are communicated between the smartphone's browser and the game server (XML). Games can be password protected as well. Written using Ruby on Rails.
CMPT 470 Final Project but will likely be continued in the future for possible use in SFU's CSSS (SFU's Computing Science Student Society) PacVancouver Froshweek event.
