I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Simon Fraser University, where I also serve as Academic Director of the SFU Research Data Centre.
My research focuses on labour economics, the economics of education, and applied econometrics. I’m especially interested in how worker and firm heterogeneity, sorting, and matching affect labour market outcomes; how school choice shapes student achievement; and the measurement of productivity losses due to illness. I am a Research Fellow at IZA@LISER.
